Position Overview

Omicelo is seeking an organized, responsive, accountable, and efficient IT Specialist to support technology operations across Omicelo and its portfolio companies. This role serves as a key resource for maintaining a secure, reliable, and effective technology environment while delivering exceptional support to employees throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate is a service-oriented professional with strong organizational, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills who can manage competing demands with discretion and sound judgment. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to continuous improvement in technology, security, and user experience.

This is a full-time, on-site position.


Job Duties & Responsibilities 

Systems Administration and Security

  • Administer Microsoft 365, including Intune, Autopilot, security policies, and email systems.
  • Administer and maintain security controls and best practices across all IT systems and devices.
  • Administer and configure cloud-based applications and services.
  • Administer backup solutions and ensure data recovery readiness.
  • Administer and maintain DNS services.

Support and Device Management

  • Administer, maintain, and configure Windows PCs.
  • Manage the company help desk.
  • Assess needs for new equipment and software.
  • Drive initiatives to improve user satisfaction and technology experience.
  • Identify and eliminate security risks.
  • Manage device security and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Administer, maintain, and configure the cloud-based phone system (RingCentral).
  • Administer, maintain, and configure site network and wireless network systems.
  • Communicate and collaborate with IT team members and other departments as needed.

Training and Documentation

  • Develop and provide training on IT systems and security best practices.
  • Maintain current documentation for IT processes, system configurations, and support procedures.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Broad understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks and projects, and appropriately escalate issues when needed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of network systems and cloud-based networking technologies.
  • Ability to synthesize information and make independent decisions.
  • Ability to manage and adjust processes as business needs evolve.
  • Initiative and adaptability in a changing environment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT systems administration or a related role.
